Description:
Also known as elephant ears yam, corpse lily, Amorphophallus rivieri and devil's tongue The flower grows on a single stalk, when it dies the single stalk leave will appear and when that dies a single stalk with many seeds going from green to orange will appear. It looks very much like a Calla Lily.
It is an aroid, a common name of the Aracaea--or Philodendron or Arum--family. Amorphophallus konjac's flower stalk can reach a height of 5 feet and its tubers can weight 22 lb. and measure 1 foot across. It is grown as a houseplant.

Habitat:
I found this growing on our property in Luzviminda, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Notes:
I found many beetles inside the flower which it uses to pollinate itself with. Some say it stinks but I didn't smell anything.
