Field Notes

Description:

Nondescript greyish brown with shade darker above and lighter below. Medium length tail, short bill and crest on the head.
Maybe found foraging in flocks, moving from tree to tree. But during nesting season it doesn't go far. Feeding on insects, seeds and acorns.

Habitat:

Mainly found in oak trees or near them.

Notes:

Took these shots from my car when I heard their call near me.
