Field Notes

Description:

Male. Length: 3 inches (7.62 cm) Swimming and expanding vocal sac to attract mate. Orangish/tan and brown with many warts.

Habitat:

Man-made pond in the backyard near woodlands. Pond liner is black so you can see clearly through the water.

Notes:

Macro. Night flash. Panasonic DMC-FZ47. Focal length: 19 mm for most photos except swimming.
