Nice find. Note that this rodent has a fairly small, furry tail. Beavers have very large, flat, hairless tails. Beavers are also mostly found around or in water. Here is a link to the Wikipedia page for Beavers so you can compare the pictures to yours: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaver
