Description:

The flower heads of the cichorium intybus are light blue with 5 tiny teeth at the tip. They bloom during the morning and close up later in the day, unless the skies are cloudy.

Habitat:

Grows in disturbed fields.

Notes:

Maltese name: Cikwejra
