Field Notes

Description:

A truly bizarre moth. About 1.5 inches across. Wings look like crumpled dried leaves. Abdomen held bent upward, arched over its back. Legs very furry.

Habitat:

Front window. My home is in Florida Longleaf Pine/Turkey Oak Sandhill habitat.

Notes:

I think the photo I took of the moth's underside makes it look like a small dragon.... yes?
