Description:

A foam, known as cuckoo spit, frog spit or snake spit, resembling saliva, is a transformed plant sap produced by a nymph of froghopper; therefore caled Spittlebug. The foam provides a cover and protection from heat and cold to the nymph,

Habitat:

Found on grassland/pasture lands on hills at the basis of Jura mountain range; valley of lake Geneva (Leman), just in between Alps and Jura ranges.
