Field Notes

Description:

A small bird keeping to the ground. Had a buddy not too far away. I only saw this pair of them the whole day, and they didn't like to get too close!

Going with the ID suggestion. I can't personally tell the crested larks/skylarks apart so well, but Alauda gulgula gulgula sounds about right!

Habitat:

Desertifying high-altitude grassland

Notes:

5:24pm CST

Location of the camera is exact.
