Description:

Skimmer family of dragonflies. Male - Blue Tail. Yellow and black abdomen and green head. Small to medium dragonfly. 1 1/2 inches long. Raised abdomen may be a response to heat or a threat display.

Habitat:

A small pond on the property of the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World.

Notes:

This dragonfly is wide-spread throughout the USA.
