Description:

1 1/2" long. Photos 1-4 are of an individual spotted at the back of my house, photo 5 is a different one under my front porch lamp.

Semi rural

I love the antennae, btw. They look like beads strung together!
Genus Neohermes: http://bugguide.net/node/view/8547 I'll leave it to you to try to figure out which species. There isn't a whole lot of info on Bugguide and only a few images (comparatively). Antennae and body match. There doesn't seem to be a common name for these. I don't know if they are Fishflies or Dobsonflies but they are related to both.
I wondered that Todd, but all the examples on bugguide I could see had large "horns" like this one http://bugguide.net/node/view/547295/bgimage
