Description:

Narcissus tazetta is a very common perennial that starts growing after the first rains. It forms a beautiful inflorescence of many blossoms; the flowers are white with an orange central cup producing a very sweet, musky fragrance.

Habitat:

Grows in garigue and uncultivated fields, although I spotted the one in the picture in a private garden.

Notes:

Maltese name: Narcis
