Field Notes

Description:

Male. 2 1/4 inches long. Tan and brown with stripes and some white spots. Red dewlap (flap of skin) as a defensive.

Habitat:

On a fence post near bushes and trees and water. Wilderness Lodge (Disney World). Defensive position.

Notes:

Native to Cuba and Bahamas and now Florida. Highly invasive.
