Field Notes

Description:

The brown recluse can grow up to 1/4 to 3/4 inches. To tell that it is a Brown Recluse there is a line up it's back that makes it look like a violin that's how it gets it's nickname the Violin Spider. Beware because they are very venomous! The Brown Recluse has three pairs of eyes unlike other spiders. When alarmed they will put up two front legs in defense.

Habitat:

Brown Recluse make irregular webs in dense brush.

Notes:

Like I said they are very deadly so don't get too close to it or it will bite you.

Species ID Suggestions

I do not know if this spider is a Brown Recluse or not so I put info on the Brown Recluse just in case if it is.
