Description:

entirely black with red eyes. slightly green-grey neck

Habitat:

At the jetty in pulau ubin. saw one in a nest in a part of the jetty roof (indoor).

Your birds are actually Asian Glossy Starlings which are smaller but similar to the male Koel which has a much paler bill see my picture here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/22765151.
