thanks for the corrections guy's its been a while since i seen either snake i got them mixed up.
Aaron beat me to it, but definitely not a Copperhead. Also, Copperheads are light brown with darker brown saddle shapes down their backs, where as this guy is mostly plain. But keep in mind the Northern Water Snake can be highly variable in pattern, but as Aaron mentioned, they are harmless.
Hi there. While this has some of the copperhead coloration, it is a harmless watersnake. The very distinct round pupils give it away as a non-venomous species in PA.
