Description:

American Toad (Bufo americanus americanus) - True Toad family ( Bufonidae). 2-31/2in. (5.1-8.9cm); record 43/8in. (11.1cm). I almost stepped on this little fella/lady, it was sitting in a little hollowed out hole in moss (#5).

Habitat:

Mossy area in mixed woodland.
