Description:
Neotropic Cormorants are large, dark colored waterbirds, but smaller than the double-crested cormorant. This species is characterized by a long body and neck with an orange and white patch at the base of the hooked bill.
Habitat:
Widely spread throughout Mexico and Central and South America. Found along shorelines.
