± 14 cm rodent

Habitat:

They dig borrows in the sand. Semi dessert area of Tankwa National Park.

Oh my goodness, we have so many rodents in SA! I've gone through my guide book and to me this looks like three possibilities: 1) a climbing mouse 2) a rock mouse or 3) a bush karoo rat! Im most likely waaay off.
