Description:

A young moose had fallen into a well, and many folks gathered to get it pulled out. While it was successfully pulled out, sadly it didn't survive the ordeal. I believe it was weakened by the countless ticks that covered it's body and the stress was too much. If you look closely at the last shot, you can see where it's fur has been scraped off in the moose's attempt to remove the ticks. Very, very sad.

No, sadly it didn't. I believe it was already weakened by the heavy tick infestation and the stress of the ordeal and sedation was too much.
