Description:
a species of plasmodial slime mold, and a member of the Myxomycetes class. Often referred to as scrambled egg slime although it was originally named flowers of tan by a french botanist.
Habitat:
seen on an old decaying log stump in low common, owned by the yorkshire wildlife trust.
Notes:
This species is known to cause asthma and allergenic rhinitis in susceptible people
