Field Notes

Description:

about 12mm, I suspect this is a species of Micrathena, but I'm not sure.

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this in Canalendres near Mocoa. I only saw this type of spider once. It was pretty difficult to photograph and it kept moving and I couldn't get a good angle for more photos.
