Description:

A hairstreak butterfly called the Common Tit, Hypolycaena erylus tmolus C.& R. Felder 1862 (Lycaenidae; Lycaeninae; Theclini). H. e. tmolus is the ssp. occurring in the islands of the Luzon region, as well as in the Negros and Panay islands.

Habitat:

Spotted along the bank of a stream traversing the Binictican forest trail located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Hermosa Bataan.
