Description:

Appearing like a sparrow-like goldfinch, the Pine Siskin, Spinus pinus is a small finch in the same genus as the American Goldfinch, Spinus tristis.

Habitat:

These lovely birds have appeared in swarms these past few weeks. I'd never seen them before!
