Field Notes

Description:

A very lovely little dragonfly! Approx 2 1/2" long. Not timid. Bright tangerine - yellow on thorax and front part of abdomen. Thorax striped with black. Even bases of wings had a touch of yellow. Top of abdomen towards the front had two stripes; most of the length was dusty slate blue.

Habitat:

My garden , in a Florida pine sandhill habitat.
