Description:

Large turtle with a long spiky tail. Shell about 15 inches. Webbed feet. Very prehistoric looking!

Habitat:

Normally found in water or near water.

Notes:

Spotted (and assisted, without touching ) crossing the road in may. Might have been a female looking for a nesting site.

Since you know the identity of your turtle, would you please add the scientific name to your spotting. Unless both the common and scientific names are included in your spottings they will be considered "unknown" by the site. If you have any other spottings like this it would be great if you would update them as well. Thanks!
