Field Notes

Description:

Adults are grey-black above with light underneath; they have a long black tail with a white end and long pointed wings. They aggressively defend their territories from other birds much larger then themselves.

Habitat:

Found towards the end of Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge.

Notes:

Saw multiple kingbirds yesterday but this was the closest I had gotten to it.
