Field Notes
Description:
Male of around 7cm, excluding the tail. Very well camouflaged, blending in with its spotted grey/brown colouration. This specimen lacked the bright colours completely, but with a prominent black patch on the throat.
Habitat:
Found on rocks along the Wall of Tears trail.
Notes:
Lava lizards belong to the Iguanidae family, being related to Iguanas.
