Field Notes

Description:

A fiddle head has a long stem with a curvy green swirl at the top. A fiddle head is also a fuel for kids. The fiddle head also known as an ostrich fern is the official plant of New Brunswick!

Habitat:

Fiddle heads can be found some of the strangest places like in woods or close to lakes or behind your house by a stream.

Notes:

I found it in the woods looking for wild life at (NB) New Maryland Elementary School.
