Description:

Also called yellow flag, yellow iris, water flag. Iris pseudacorus grows best in very wet conditions, and is often common in wetlands, where it tolerates submersion, low pH, and anoxic soils.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest near a wetland and brook. Gully Brook Park, Lake Metroparks System, Willoughby, Ohio, USA.
