Description:

Saw this insect at Lettuce Lake Park In Florida a few years ago. Camouflaged like a leaf. Not exactly sure what insect it is and would appreciate any help identifying it. Thanks. :)

Seen at Lettuce Lake Park.

Hi spanishgarrett, It is impossible to be completely sure about your bug because the extreme back lighting makes it difficult to see any detail, but that's OK. We all, sometimes, have the problem of not being able to get a better view. So, I will send you a Species ID Suggestion, based on my impression of the silhouette shape and, importantly, your location in Florida.
