Field Notes

Description:

7 little fluffy cygnets together with both parents, they were having a splash around in a shallow puddle at first then as they all set off it looked as if the Male was counting them to make sure they were all there (photo 3)

Habitat:

seen at Potteric carr nature reserve owned by the yorkshire wildlife trust.
