Description:
From Audubon Society's "Field Guide to Florida" : " 10". Carapace round , domed, black with few light reddish-brown bars; edge yellowish. Plastron reddish. Head blackish with narrow yellow stripes, 1 arrow-shaped on snout. Feet, tail black with yellow stripes. " (p. 284)
Habitat:
Fern Hammock, Juniper Springs State Park, Ocala National Forest.
Notes:
The reddish bars on the carapace gave me the ID. I am not so good with my turtle identification, I'm afraid....
