Field Notes

Description:

A large woody shrub growing along the banks of the spring at Fern Hammock. Flower cluster about 5" across. Lots of little bees were buzzing around it.

Habitat:

Very close, if not actually in, the water of the main spring in Fern Hammock, adjacent to Juniper Springs main spring head. Gorgeous spot.

Notes:

My 200th spotting! WOO HOO!!!!!
