Lovely! According to UKmoths.org, Alucita hexadactyla is the only species of Alucitidae in the area. http://ukmoths.org.uk/show.php?id=360
What an awesome moth. Looks like a Japanese fan, and the photo, Viv, is bordering on art! As a hack artist, it's riveting and inspirational. Well done on a great spotting and photo :-) Would love to know what sort of moth it is.
