Description:

The Mockingbirds is the Florida state bird. These birds have grayish upper feathers and white under feathers. They have a distinct patch of white on their wings and tails. Mockingbirds are omnivores. They eat beetles, bees, wasps, and grasshoppers. Mockingbirds also eat fruit.

Habitat:

Mockingbirds live in landscapes near houses like gardens. You can find them in wooded areas. The live in most of the United States.

Notes:

the mockingbirds i spotted made a nest and the female laid her eggs. they soon will hatch!
