The Black-and-white Owl is a species of owl in the Strigidae family. It is found in Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.

Thanks Ceherzog and Rieko, I was fortunate to get these guys on my last night in Ecuador. They had been calling every night I was there, but finding them was slightly a problem due to weather.
That would be an owl I would love to see!
