Description:

About 8 mm long beetle is very slim and has a bell-shaped elongated pronotum. The top is completely black and shiny. From the underside, but at least partially red colored abdomen is visible.

Habitat:

It is widely distributed in Europe and lacking in a few areas, luck northern part of North Europe. It is also found in Asia Minor to the northern Iran.
