Description:

A wonderful Tiger Moth with red and black hind wings. The underside of the abdomen is white with red and yellow.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Ha Ha! Tiger moths like to play dead and they will just lay there in any position for pictures. I think they are secretly photo hams. :)
