Field Notes

Description:

Cream-colored Moth with black markings. The underwings are pale and without markings. The legs are banded. Recently moved to the Family Erebidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Lauren, I was not able to find either, that's why I could not formalize my suggestion :(
Agnes, I can't find a similar one with that open circle on the upper wings instead of a spot.
