Field Notes

Description:

Mayfly. Approx 3/4 - 1 inch long. 2 tails. Uniform translucent main wings and hind wings.

Habitat:

Along the Mississippi River in Nauvoo, Illinois.

Notes:

Sorry for the poor photos. I was not focusing on identification at the time. After doing some research I think they might be family Ephemeridae, Genus Hexagenia. Not sure though.
