Field Notes

Description:

Small orange and black moth of about 5 mm. The abdomen is banded yellow and black. I think all these pictures are of the same species. Family Crambidae (Pyralidae).

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
