Description:

This little metallic blue creature should be a beetle. It is very tiny, about 1 centimeter or less in length. The surface it was resting on is the leaf (frond) of a fern.

Looks not bad, but I do not dare to confirm that 100%. Beetles are a little bit out of my usual business ;-)...
Thanks bayucca for the clue. I think it should be Endelus cupido.
