Description:

cool looking flies and some smaller insects (look closely) clustered on something organic, possibly animal droppings

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted these on the railing of the hostel porch in Tawau hills park.

Species ID Suggestions

Just some large species of Scholastes flies and smaller flies feeding on a dung. The dung may be from some type of arboreal mammals.
