Field Notes

Notes:

A treetop hunter of deciduous forests and suburban areas, the Great Crested Flycatcher is easier to hear than to see. The only eastern flycatcher that nests in cavities, it often includes snakeskin in the nest lining.

That's how I am, every single photo I take/put up is hand held. I wish I could raise enough funds for a new/better camera. I've been using the same Canon Powershot SX30 IS for a year now, yet I've advanced so much that everything I produce looks way better then it used to, but I still feel the need to rise up in the ranks.
Yes, but it was worth it. After using the 100-400mm for over 10 years I was ready for a step up. I didn't bother with a tripod, all my shots are hand held.
Wow! So expensive! The crisp, clear photos are well worth the price I assume!
Thanks Conor. I'm using a Canon 5D with the 500mm lens and the 1.4X teleconvertor.
