Field Notes

Habitat:

Today this species was in a man made habitat of a sign at a County nature Preserve. It was located in the rear of the sign between the left post and one of the 2 x 8 panels that was not tightly bolted against the post. It was enjoying a peaceful sleep. The sun starting to shine directly on it though. Plus it appeared to look somewhat darker green than usual. Perhaps due to the brown stain color of the wood, it tried to blend in some.
