It was probably the same Filipa. These birds are quite common and there aren't many more possibilities. Juveniles are darker and, of course, smaller. But you should check your bird guide, it could have been a Chaffinch or even a Serin.
The past summer I found a little bird lying on my garden, hurt badly. It was very similar to this one, though it seemed quite smaller, more yellow-toned and less greyish. Extremely similar beak, but more dark colored and same feather color pattern and shape ! Could it be the same species or are the differences too big ?
Thanks Madalena and Ali. It allowed me to approach like no other greenfinch had done before! I was quite stunned, to be honest.
