Description:

The beetle reaches four to six millimeters in body length. He has two colors black and bright red. Most of the body including the trailer body is black, the pronotum and elytra are red, with a broad black longitudinal stripes on both sides of the seam runs on the wing covers, which usually tapers in a wedge-shaped back. Deviations are in color before spreading. Often there are one or two on the pronotum black ribbons. The black drawing can also extensive, to completely black animals be. The entire body is protruding hairy black, the hair is a little obliquely backwards. The trunk is relatively long and straight. The sensors are turned in near the middle trunk, the male a little before the middle. The loosely structured, three-pronged probe beam is clearly set off against the scourge sensor.
