Description:

A slow-growing woody plant, very aromatic, producing lilac flowers disposed in spikes and lanceolate leaves disposed in axial tufts. Thymbra capitata is probably the longest living shrub of the mint family in the Maltese islands.

Habitat:

Garigue.

Notes:

Maltese name: Saghtar
