Description:

Approximately 7 mm in length, marked as shown. Note clubbed antennae, pale band across body.

Habitat:

Found on the floor in a coffee shop and taken home for photography.

Notes:

This is a very widespread urban insect sometimes pesky in stored products of animal origin. It feeds on dry carcasses in nature.
