Description:

Ringlet on red avens (Geum coccineum) leave. Spotted in its SE range limit (NW Greece). In SE Europe Ringlet is larger with all markings bold and wing undersides brighter with brasssy golden reflections.

Habitat:

Grassy woodland clearing.
